Jacc Putt a Hole-In-One for Holiday Fun!

There's a bit of Holiday fun happening down at the Juneau Arts and Culture Center in the form of a miniature golf course. Affectionately dubbed the "Jacc Putt, the course is ten fanciful holes all based on Fairy Tales, from the Gingerbread Man to Peter Pan and Rapunzel, and each in itself a small challenge for even an accomplished duffer. Kari Groven, the Program Coordinator for the Juneau Arts and Humanities Council, filled us in.
"This is good for the whole family, you see kids down to like two and three years old that are kind of stumbling around and seem to have a lot of fun, and then people up into their seventies, eighties, that are having a lot of fun too so it's just a nice thing to do indoors during the Christmas Holidays in Juneau. Five dollars per round per person, if you come in groups of fifteen or less you can get a group discount, you can also actually book this for a private party. And then they get the rules and they can choose to follow the rules or not follow the rules. They get a ball each and a little putter and they start at any hole they like and can make marks on how many hits it takes to get to the hole or they can just hit the ball all over the place.
Not being a golfer myself, I had to ask what was considered par for the course.
Kari's Answer was "We don't have a par, we just have the person who gets the least amount of hits in total when they go through all of the ten holes that are here, and they are the winner if they choose to do the kind of competition part of it."
Hit the Jacc Putt runs until December 30th and benefits the Juneau Arts and Humanities Council.
